Why It Matters
Stroke is a leading cause of disability and death in Kenya and around the world. Through events like this, SAoK and KNH aim to empower communities with knowledge, encourage early detection, and promote healthier lifestyles.
The event was not only a commemoration but also a united call to action:
To empower communities with knowledge, strengthen partnerships in stroke care, and ensure that every Kenyan knows how to recognize and respond to stroke symptoms — because every minute truly counts.
As SAoK and KNH continue their collaboration in stroke prevention, care, and advocacy, we extend heartfelt gratitude to all partners, volunteers, and attendees who made World Stroke Day 2025 a remarkable success.
Together, we can build a stroke-aware Kenya — one where lives are saved, disabilities reduced, and survivors supported to live healthy, dignified lives.
Together, we can beat stroke — one minute, one life at a time.
